Abstract

This article explores the historical struggle of Nakhchivan’s population for independence and autonomy in the early 20th century, focusing on the challenges posed by neighboring states and the influence of Soviet Russia. The people of Nakhchivan, driven by a strong sense of national identity, engaged in a determined resistance against Armenian and Soviet incursions, culminating in the region being granted autonomous status under Soviet rule.
